@Nextcloud ðŸ“±â˜ï¸ðŸ’» I suspected that the reason you don't use peertube or lbry, is because you want to game the algorithms on youtube, and push all your viewers there. And all you have to show for it is 10,000 subs/followers?

Well, the main reason I don't watch your videos is because you only post them on youtube. I'd be more understanding if you were succeding at gaming the algorithms and had 10x (or 0.1 M) the number of dedicated followers.

Look... your community... or at least a bunch of us apart of your community want alternatives to youtube. So please stop disregarding our requests. Please use PeerTube or Odessy/LBRY. And if you really want to try and reach a broader audience by using youtube, then please stop bragging about your followers and instead ask your community to share your videos whenever you put out a video that's really worth it to us, and then brag when you've succeded with your community in growing the community.

If you don't care about the algs, then why limit yourself to youtube? Why not use all of them? I'll congradulate you once you've put forth the effort to expand all your horizons.

On that note: Thank You for using Mastodon and creating a great product that every member of your community has used to remove their reliance on big tech, and to self host when we can!
